Supporting Fertility in the Workplace

Supporting research and taking action to inspire family-building friendly workplaces

To help people become parents, fostering fertility-friendly workplaces is essential.
Through our research into workplace-related fertility and family-building barriers,
collaboration with partners, and support for our own employees, we aim to provide ideas
and evidence to support the creation of working environments that support families.

The Impact of Fertility Challenges at Work:
International Insights

Fertility challenges can affect up to 1 in 6 people1, however workplace support is often lacking. This Ferring-supported multi-country survey, developed with Fertility Matters at Work and This Can Happen Global, highlights the emotional, financial, and career impact of treatment and urges employers to adopt inclusive policies and flexible support.

Infertility and family-building:
Bridging the gap in workplace mental health support

Infertility and family-building journeys can significantly impact mental health, especially in the workplace where stigma and lack of support persist. Ferring’s report for employers highlights the need for inclusive, fertility-friendly policies, providing actionable steps and metrics to help employers prioritise reproductive wellbeing.
